`Corporator was murdered'

New Delhi Aug. 27. A 51-year-old Delhi Municipal corporator, Atma Ram Gupta, was murdered allegedly by some criminals hired by a fellow woman corporator, Sharda Jain, today.

Mr. Gupta, Congress Councillor from Trinagar and Chairman of Appointments and Promotion Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, who was missing since Saturday, was shot dead in Ghaziabad, police said. Ms. Jain and her brother have been arrested in this connection.
