New Delhi Aug. 28. Unfazed by the reported refusal of the Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani, to meet him, the Kashmiri separatist leader, Shabir Shah, today said that he was still hopeful that a meeting between him and the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, would take place to resolve the Kashmir issue.

``I am here not on an invitation from Mr. Advani. The meeting with the Kashmir Committee chairman, Ram Jethmalani, was on to hammer out a solution to the Kashmir problem,'' Mr. Shah told reporters here. — PTI
