Letters to the Editor
Sir, Mr. C.P. Velayudhan Nair's letter `Resurrect Kamaraj' (Aug. 20) shed light on an event in the late leader's life of refusing to get a pipe connection to his home for his aged mother when he was at the helm of affairs. Unfortunately, the present day political class, nurtured by various political parties, has people who vie with each other in grabbing petrol bunk connections, which is an irony by itself.
