Karan takes over from Ranjit

GURGAON AUG. 29. Karan Vasudeva bounced back to the top of the leaderboard with a fine one-over 73 to open a four-stroke lead over overnight leader Ranjit Singh, after the third round of the IGU Junior tour golf tournament at the DLF Golf and Country Club here on Thursday.

Despite inclement weather throughout the day, Karan brought himself back into contention with the best card of the tournament so far. His three-round aggregate stood at 227 while Ranjit was 231.

After leading on the first two days, Ranjit struggled to come to terms with the course and wet conditions. He carded 79 in the third round and had a seven-stroke lead over Amardeep Malik (238).

In Group B, Ajeetesh Sandhu led the field with a three-round aggregate of 244 while Amanjot Singh (237) was atop Group C.
