CBI probe into HDW case closed

New Delhi Sept. 3. The CBI today informed the Delhi High Court that it had closed its probe in Germany into the Rs. 420-crore HDW submarine case after the authorities in that country refused to cooperate. Submitting a status report before a Division Bench, the Additional Solicitor-General, R.N. Trivedi, said that after the German authorities communicated their refusal, the agency was forced to close its probe.
