Cong., Left flay attack on Iraq

NEW DELHI SEPT. 7. The Congress and the Left parties have criticised the U.S. attacks on Iraq in the face of international opinion against such aggression and by bypassing the U.N.

The Congress on Friday said the aggression was against all international laws and conventions. In a related statement, the CPI(M) politburo condemned the U.S. attack in defiance of "almost universal disapproval'' and said the U.N. should immediately intervene to stop such "imperialist aggressiveness.''
