T.N. CM may not attend CRA meet

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI SEPT. 7. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, is not likely to attend Sunday's meeting of the Cauvery River Authority, being held at such short notice, officials sources said here tonight.

The Chief Minister was reviewing the situation and conferring with her Cabinet colleagues and top officials. Even her speech was being prepared but a final decision on her attending the CRA meeting would probably be taken only tomorrow morning. There was no question of a boycott of the meeting, they added.
