10 Gujarat websites defaced

HYDERABAD SEPT. 13. Gujarat appears to have caught the attention of hackers worldwide. A day after the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, mentioned the Gujarat carnage at the United National General Assembly, websites of many industrial houses of the State been targeted.

Though the hacker group, pinchodoresweb, was not known to be anti-Indian the timing of the cyber attacks on 10 Gujarat-based websites has raised the eyebrows among those keenly watching the hacking activity.

The Gujarat sites defaced today include: agrawalship.com, bancoindia.com, aminet4u.com, amrelicity.com, amidrugs.com, adicontrols.com, acrysil.com, aditya-online.com, bodyhardchem.com and anknagricbank.com.

On Thursday, pinchodoresweb had defaced six Indian sites — tafp.net, travelmartindia.com, dharmshri.org, computerbaseindia.com, ecubehosting.com and skanmarine.com, according to information available.
