Exemption for Sanjay Dutt

MUMBAI SEPT. 16. Film star Sanjay Dutt and 88 co-accused in the 1993 bomb blast case were today granted exemption for two weeks by a Special Court.

In a related development, Shaikh Aziz, one of the accused, filed a petition, challenging the Constitutional validity of the TADA (P) Act, saying the Act is ultra vires Constitution and that the court should make a reference to the Supreme Court to determine its validity.
