An embarrassment

Sir, — It was sad that the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, had to respond to Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, on his remarks over the Gujarat riots. The so-called star campaigner of the BJP, Narendra Modi is causing unnecessary loss of face not only to the BJP but also to the nation. His provocative remarks against minorities during the `Gaurav rath yatra' added impetus to this humiliation. Narendra Modi is becoming a shame to our nation.
