CII team for CBF

NEW DELHI SEPT. 21. Rahul Bajaj, past president, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Chairman and Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, and Director of the Commonwealth Business Council, is leading the Indian business participation at the Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) in London on September 23 and 24 taking forward CII's initiatives to strengthen CBC, the business arm of the Commonwealth Secretariat.

The other members of the CII delegation are: Tarun Das, Director General, CII; Lalita Gupte, Joint Managing Director and COO, ICICI, Udayan Bose, Managing Director, Lazard of the U.K.; Syamal Gupta, Chairman, Tata International, R Venkataraman, Associate Director, Mastek, Mohit Sarobar, Resident Director, CII, the U.K., and Supriya Banerji, Senior Director, CII. N. K. Singh, Member, Planning Commission, will represent the Government of India at this forum.

Under the theme "Managing Globalisation: Challenges for Business and Governments", the CBF will bring together major international business and government leaders from throughout the 54 countries of the Commonwealth.

The highlight of the Indian participation will be the "India networking lunches" being hosted by the CII on September 23 and 24.

Through this launch CII hopes to provide the participants an opportunity to informally interact and meet with the representatives from industry and Government.
