Midnapore (W.B.) Sept. 21. A Trinamool Congress activist was killed and four were seriously injured in a bomb explosion that blew away the roof of a house where they and others were allegedly making bombs in the Panskura police station area of East Midnapore district today.

The District Magistrate, Anil Verma, said according to preliminary reports a large number of Trinamool workers hailing from Pingla in the neighbouring West Midnapore district had been staying in the house for quite some time.
