Shivani case: caveat filed

New Delhi Sept. 24. The Delhi Police today filed a caveat in the Supreme Court to pre-empt the suspended senior Haryana police official, R. K. Sharma, prime accused in the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case, from obtaining any possible ex-parte anticipatory bail order.

The caveat was filed by the crime branch of the Delhi Police following non-surrender of the accused even after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Delhi High Court on September 9.
