Cauvery panel begins mission

MYSORE SEPT. 24. The Cauvery Monitoring Committee today went ahead with its programme in Karnataka and announced that it would finalise the report after consulting technical experts and farmers of the Cauvery basin despite the boycott by Tamil Nadu on the ground that the issue was sub judice. The committee chairman and Union Water Resources Secretary, A.K. Goswami, arrived at the Krishnarajasagar dam site, near here, along with the team members. Earlier, the team held discussions in Bangalore.
