Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25. ΅An independent MLA was injured when he was punched and pushed by some of the ruling BJD members who also trampled over him when he rushed to the well of the Orissa Assembly after the controversial disinvestment of the NALCO came up in the House today. Manas Ranjan Mallick, a former BJD member and considered close to the rebel BJD leader, Dilip Ray, had to be taken to hospital for a bleeding injury after receiving first-aid at the Assembly dispensary.
