Army brigade moved to Ahmedabad

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI SEPT. 25. The Army today moved a brigade of troops from nearby areas to Ahmedabad as a ``precautionary measure''. This comes in the wake of the terrorist attack on the Akshardham temple complex in Gandhinagar on Tuesday.

Approximately 3,000 troops withdrawn from nearby formations deployed on the forward locations along the western border were being moved by both rail and air, Army officials said here.
