Padmanabha Swami Temple to be protected

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Sept. 28. Sree Padamanabha Swami Temple and the adjoining palaces, including Rangavilasom and Sundaravilasom palaces, Kuthiramalika, and its premises will be declared as protected monuments.

The Ironvilla park, Vadekenambi madhom, Pusphangali Swamiyar madhom, Nityachilavu bungalow, Rangavilasom palace, Rangavilasom palace outhouse, Rangavilasom annexe, Thevarapuram, Koppupura, Sundaravilasom palace, Chokathu mandapam, Chellamvaka, Utsavamadhom, Ramanamadhom, Navaratriman- dapam, Krishnavilasom palace, Peskar office, Kuthiramalika, Bhajanapuramalika, Ananthavilasom palace, Ananthavilasom palace outhouse and its premises are in the list to be declared as protected monuments.

Those who have any objection in this regard should inform the Secretary, Cultural Affairs (B) Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram, before November 9, an official release said.
