Talking to reporters here, they said the BJP All India Secretary, Ganesan, would flag off the yatra at Tirupati, which would then proceed to Gangadhara, Nellore, Chittoor, Banagarupalyam, Palamaner, Punganur and Madanapalle. A public meeting would be held at Madanapalle on October 6. The yatra would then proceed from Madanapalli and cover Angallu Mudivedu, Thamballapalle, Peddamandyam, Gurramkonda, and Cherlopalli, entering Cuddapah district at 12 noon the same day. They said completion of pending projects in the State costing Rs. 32,000 crores would ensure irrigation of 50-lakh acres besides providing employment to 50-lakh families. The BJP was contemplating to generate funds by raising public bonds and entrusting construction work to private companies and collect tax from users after completion of work. They said similar yatras would be organised at three different places covering the entire State and culminate at Warangal, where the BJP national president, M. Venkaiah Naidu, would address the gathering.
