Tirumala Brahmotsavam begins

TIRUMALA OCT. 7. The nine-day annual brahmotsavam began at the temple of Lord Venkateswara here today with `Dwajarohanam', amid chanting of Vedic hymns.

Earlier, Lord Malayappa Swamy along with his consorts, Sridevi and Bhudevi, was taken in a grand procession around the temple.
