They are U. Santosh Kumar, District Social Welfare Officer and owner of a cinema house at Kacheguda, here, D. Shankar Rao, senior assistant in the Hyderabad Social Welfare Office, and R. Motia Naik, a warden and alleged kingpin behind the racket. All of them were placed under suspension at different points of time earlier. The dismissal, according to sources in the Government, has been made under Article 311 2 (B) of the conduct and service rules and the Classification, Control and Appeal rules of 25 and 26. It may be recalled that about Rs. 50 crores was involved in the scam indulged in through bogus colleges out of which 35 have been identified so far.
