Trains cancelled

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI OCT. 10. Due to the agitation in Mandya district of Karnataka over the Cauvery waters issue, Southern Railway today announced the cancellation of three trains between Bangalore and Mysore till October 13.

Consequent upon this decision, the Thanjavur-Mysore-Thanjavur Expresses, Mysore-Chennai Central-Mysore Kaveri Expresses and Chennai Central-Mysore-Chennai Central Shatabdi Expresses would terminate/originate from Bangalore City.

The Mysore-Nizamuddin Express will leave from Bangalore, instead of Mysore on October 11, according to a railway press release.
