Further improvement in Maran's health

CHENNAI Oct. 10. The health of the Union Industries and Commerce Minister, Murasoli Maran, has shown improvement in the last two days, according to a medical bulletin from Apollo Hospitals, issued here today.

"The team of doctors attending on him feel that his cardiac functions are normal and that his liver functions are improving. He continues to be on intermittent renal dialysis for maintenance of his kidney functions. He has short walks in the room and is on oral diet,'' the bulletin added.
