Kanchi Acharya bereaved

New Delhi Oct. 13 Saraswathi Ammal, mother of the Kanchi Acharya, Jayendra Saraswathi, passed away at 6 p.m. today at her residence in Adyar. She was 84.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, has expressed her condolences to the Acharya and members of the math.
