Letters to the Editor
Sir, I agree with the Shiv Sena supremo, Bal Thackeray's suggestion to create "Hindu suicide squads". To start with, I would like to suggest the names of three people who would be ideal for this cause Narendra Modi, Praveen Togadia and Bal Thackeray to be used in no particular order, but preferably together. Apart from tackling the terrorist menace head-on, it would solve a lot of other problems our country and the people are facing. Bharatram Gaba, Mumbai Sir, It is disturbing to find that despite all the suffering the citizens of this "secular" nation have endured, the outlook of some leaders such as Mr. Thackeray has remained unchanged. It is time the political personalities of this country realised that playing upon religious sentiments for a few votes would ultimately result in the denouncement of such tricks by Indians. Anjana M, Ahmedabad
