'Arrest if law permits'

Shillong Oct. 19. The Maharastra Deputy Chief Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, said today that the Shiv Sena supremo, Bal Thackeray, would be arrested for his remarks calling for raising of Hindu suicide squads, if the law permitted.

``If the law permits, Thackeray will be arrested for his recent public speech calling for forming of Hindu suicide squads,'' Mr. Bhujbal, who was here to attend the Central Working Committee meeting of the Nationalist Congress Party, told newsmen.
