Allahabad Oct. 22. Slaughter of a cow allegedly by members of the minority community triggered tension in a village here prompting deployment of additional forces, police said today.

It was allegedly stolen and slaughtered on October 15. The recovery of limbs of the cow sparked tension in Khanpur Dandi village. — PTI
