Pak. remains suspended

LONDON NOV. 1. Pakistan will remain suspended from the Commonwealth until the latter is satisfied that democracy has been fully restored there, the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Don McKinnon, announced here this evening.

The decision was taken by the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group in the light of the Commonwealth observers' report on the recent elections in Pakistan.
