Pak. Assembly session

Isalamabad Nov. 2. Amid continued deadlock over the formation of a government, the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, today summoned the newly-elected National Assembly to meet on November 8 for its members to take oath. The announcement followed criticism that the Government was deliberately delaying the convening of the National Assembly where the pro-Musharraf Pakistan Muslim League-Qaide Azam has failed to secure a majority.
