Four killed in militant attack

JAMMU NOV. 5. Four persons, who were travelling in a Tata Sumo carrying the body of a road accident victim, were killed by militants in Surankote area of Poonch sector during the last 24 hours.

Police said the militants ambushed the vehicle, which was on its way to Poonch, killing four persons. The passengers had been warned against travelling on the Rajouri-Poonch road at the Rajouri check post, but was allowed to go ahead as a special case as it was carrying the body.
