Heartening news

Sir, — It is heartening to hear that Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. is about to conclude a tie-up with Israel's aviation industry for marketing the Advanced Light Helicopter. India has taken the bold step of designing and producing the aircraft indigenously, meeting international standards besides satisfying the needs of the Air Force. And it is good that India is establishing closer links with Israel.
