Pak. Assembly session put off

Islamabad Nov. 6. The Pakistan Government tonight postponed the opening session of the National Assembly by a week to give more time to the newly-elected parliamentarians to arrive at a consensus on government formation. The delay was announced on the State-run television following a Cabinet meeting, presided over by the President, Pervez Musharraf.
