Ghutka worth Rs. 50 lakhs seized

KHAMMAM NOV. 7. The Yellandu police on Thursday seized ghutka stocks worth about Rs. 50 lakhs by raiding the stock points of a Hyderabad-based supplier and some local shops, according to the Additional Superintendent of Police, G. Sudheerbabu.

He told reporters that Deepak Aggarwal of Begum Bazar, identified as the main supplier, was arrested along with two others. The police are on the lookout for another person in connection with the case.

It was revealed that many places in Khammam, Warangal and a few other districts were getting ghutka supplies from a trader's godown in Begum Bazar in Hyderabad.
