A Southern Railway release here said the first single (No.MSP-1A) would leave the Moore Market complex at 5.35 a.m. and reach Nellore at 9.25 a.m. In the return direction, it would depart from Nellore at 9.40 a.m. and reach Chennai at 1.45 p.m. The second train (No.MSP-7A) would leave the capital at 1.35 p.m. and reach Nellore at 5.30 p.m. In the return direction, the train would leave Nellore at 5.45 p.m. and reach Chennai at 10 p.m. Consequently, the existing MEMU services between Sulurpeta and Nellore (No.105) and Nellore and Chennai (No.SPM10-A) had been cancelled, the release said. Further, suburban BG EMU services to Chennai Beach from Thiruvallur and Arakonam would be diverted to the Moore Market complex in view of line and power block for gauge conversion work. The BG EMU services to Chennai Beach leaving Thiruvallur at 8.30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, would be diverted to Moore Market. The BG EMUs from Avadi and Gummidipoondi to Chennai Beach at 8.45 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 8.25 a.m. would be diverted to Moore Market. The two BG EMU services leaving for Arakkonam from Chennai Beach at 1.20 p.m. would leave from the Moore Market complex on Saturday and Sunday (November 9 and 10). EMUs leaving Chennai Beach for Avadi at 12.20 p.m. and Thiruvallur at 3.20 p.m. had been cancelled, the release added.
