Pak. militants indicted

Islamabad Nov. 8. A Pakistani court has charged five suspected activists of the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen with plotting the car bomb attack outside the U.S. Consulate in Karachi in June this year.

The trial of the militants would begin on November 19 and, if found guilty, they could face death. According to the chief prosecutor, Habib Ahmad they would be tried together in a courtroom inside the Karachi jail.

The accused have pleaded not guilty to the charges of murder, terrorism and abetting terrorists.
