Trinamool hints at continuing in NDA

KOLKATA NOV. 9. In an apparent softening of attitude towards the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the Trinamool Congress today sent signals that it was not averse to continuing in the BJP-led coalition at the Centre.

To take a decision regarding its continuance in the NDA and a possible tie-up with the BJP for the coming panchayat elections, the Trinamool Working Committee will meet here on November 16, ahead of the coming Lok Sabha session.

The Trinamool supremo, Mamata Banerjee, told reporters that the party would discuss these issues at the meeting and take a decision. — PTI
