ILNA chief

Mumbai Nov. 9. The Former PTI Chairman, R. Lakshmipathy, was unanimously elected president of the Indian Languages Newspapers Association (ILNA) at the 61st annual general meeting here today.

This is the second time that Mr. Lakshmipathy, publisher of the Dinamalar group of publication, was elected to the post. He has held several positions in the past, including the posts of president of INS, president of ABC and Chairman of PTI.

Kundan Vyas (Vyapar, Mumbai), Manorama Mahapatra (Dainik Samaj, Cuttack) were elected vice-presidents while Chaitanya Kashyap, V.K. Chopra (Gavkari) and Sunil Dang (Rajdhani Times) became honorary general secretaries of the ILNA. — PTI
