Sourav, Joshna get top billing

MUMBAI NOV 10. Kolkatta's Sourav Ghosal and Chennai's Joshna Chinappa, both members of the Indian squash team which took part in the 2002 Busan Asian Games, have been given pride of place in the boys and girls U-17 categories respectively in the Rs.2.25 lakh prize money Complan Junior Squash Open 2002, organised by Saran Presents, commencing at the Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana courts, Mumbai, on Monday.

The tournament, held under the aegis of Squash Racquets Federation of India and Squash Racquets Association of Maharashtra, has received 170 entries from all over India, including all junior national champions.

Seedings:

Boys under-11: Ramit Tandon (1), Aditya Jagtap (2); Under-13: Vikram Malhotra (1), Laxman Joshi (2); Under-15: Sandeep Jhangra (1), Manek Mathur (2); Under-17: Saurav Ghoshal (1), M Partibhan (2).

Girls under-13: Deepika Pallikal (1), Nikita Emanuel (2); Under-15: Alisha Mashruwala (1), Shruti Reddy (2); Under-17: Joshna Chinappa (1), Sonali Philip (2).
