Fifty armed members of the banned Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) attacked Harsidpur village, 22 km from Nawada district headquarters, late last night and beheaded two persons. Tension gripped the village following the incident with people sitting on a `dharna' near the bodies, police said. The District Superintendent of Police, B.B. Prasad, reached the village along with other senior officials. Six months ago, two MCC men were killed in an encounter with police in the village. PTI
