Starting from the pilgrim town of Dakor in Anand district, Mr. Modi is scheduled to reach Godhra later in the evening and address a public meeting on the outskirts of the town. The Godhra meeting has assumed additional importance in view of the visit of the Chief Election Commissioner, J.M. Lyngdoh, and the two Election Commissioners, to the State tomorrow to oversee the security arrangements for the elections. The BJP general secretary, Arun Jaitley, talking to mediapersons here, said the gaurav yatra would continue even after the Godhra round and would try to cover the constituencies which had not been covered in the nine legs of the yatra so far. PTI reports: Mr. Modi is scheduled to address rallies at five places in the Panchmahals district from atop his mechanised chariot fitted with a hydraulic system before reaching Godhra. The Panchmahals SP, Narsimha Komar, said two companies of para-military forces had been stationed in the district.
