Engg./medical ranklist term extended

By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Nov. 14. The validity of ranklist of candidates for admission to the engineering, medical and agricultural courses, has been extended till December 31, 2002, so as to facilitate admissions to the free seats that are likely to fall vacant for the engineering course and the free as well as payment seats in the medical and agricultural courses.

Under certain categories, there are free seats lying vacant for all the professional courses. Yet another centralised allotment and a subsequent re-allotment based on higher options are likely to be conducted soon, informed the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE).

Therefore, in the case of those who have been admitted to any of these courses, higher order options can be cancelled if they do not desire to be considered for the free seats.

Admission to the payment seats in the engineering courses for the current year has been declared closed with effect from October 31, the CEE informed.
