Tight security at Pushkar

Ajmer Nov.14. Unprecedented security arrangements have been made for the Pushkar fair, beginning near here tomorrow, in the wake of intelligence reports about a possible terrorist attack.

Thousands of devotees would be taking a dip in the holy Pushkar lake, about 13km from here, on the Kartik Ekadashi day tomorrow.

About 3,000 police personnel, in addition to commandos, have been deployed. The fair concludes on Kartik Purnima on November 19.
