A Bench, comprising M.B. Shah and D.M. Dharmadhikari, in its interim order relieved S.P. Jhingon, who was appointed as Administrator last year by the Delhi High Court, while removing the MCI president, Ketan Desai, from his post on alleged corruption charges. The Bench restored the management of the affairs of the Council to its vice-president, Keshavan Kuttynayar, and the executive committee. The committee consists of N. Rangabhashyan, P.N. Tandon, Bhabsali and S. Kantha.
