Rane's house torched

MUMBAI Nov. 23. Nationalist Congress Party workers attacked Shiv Sena leaders and cadres and torched the house of former Maharashtra Chief Minister, Narayan Rane, in Kankavali town in Sindhudurg district, following the killing of a local NCP leader, Satyavijay Bhise, last night.

The Sena demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh, and his deputy, Chhagan Bhujbal.
