Srinagar Nov. 26. Thirteen persons, including three boys, were killed and two injured in militancy-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir since last night, a police spokesman said today.

Three members of a family were killed by militants in Badgam district in central Kashmir today, the spokesman said. Armed militants entered the house of Abdul Khaliq Dar at Waterhail village and fired at the inmates. Dar, his daugher, Dihshada, and niece, Maimoona, died on the spot.

He said three boys were killed and another injured when an explosive device went off at village Sathipora-Gund in the border district of Kupwara in north Kashmir today. The blast occurred when the boys found the explosive device in a field and tried to play with it. — PTI
