Prof. Swaminathan passes away

CHENNAI NOV.30. Prof. Swaminathan, Business Editor of The Hindu, passed away here today after a brief illness. He was 67.

Before joining The Hindu, he was Professor of Commerce at the Loyola College and the Madras Christian College. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
