'Live' bomb recovered

Mumbai Dec. 3. The Mumbai police have recovered a `live' bomb from a civic bus in the vicinity of an electronics export processing zone in the western suburbs, even as preliminary investigations into yesterday's bus blast which killed two persons and injured 37 others, points to the use of an explosive device fitted with a timer.

Talking to reporters after visiting the site of the blast at Ghatkopar in northeast Mumbai along with the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh, today, the city Police Commissioner, M. N. Singh, citing preliminary investigations, said that a timer-equipped explosive device had apparently been used.
