CPI(M) panel meet today

By Our Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Dec. 6. The CPI(M) State committee would begin a two-day meeting here on Saturday.

The meeting, the first to be held after the last party Central committee meeting, would be briefed about the trade union document adopted by the Central committee and the decisions relating to the Jammu and Kashmir elections and the Gujarat polls.

The trade union document, authored by the veteran leaders, E. Balanandan, M. K. Pandhe and R. Umanath, was adopted by the Central committee after protracted discussions.

The meeting is also likely to review the successful campaign to enhance the circulation of the party organ, Deshabhimani, besides organisational issues both at the State and district levels.
