The West Indies was 400 for five wickets at end of play. Bangladesh's Talha Zubair took two West Indies wickets after lunch, stopping Sarwan's run at 119, after trapping Marlon Samuels before the wicket at 91. Bangladesh's Tapash Baisya and Enamul Haque grabbed three early wickets on Monday. By lunch, the West Indies was 218 for three, already 79 runs ahead of Bangladesh's first innings total of 139 runs. Paceman Baisya dismissed Hinds after he had added only two runs to his overnight score of 73.
