Chargesheeted

NEW DELHI DEC. 10. The CBI has chargesheeted five persons, including the former Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd, for allegedly cheating the company of crores of rupees by allowing huge discounts to a private firm during 1998-99 after it was earmarked for disinvestment.

In its chargesheet, the anti-corruption wing of the agency has named BALCO's former CMD, Shamal Kumar Ghosh, along with four others as accused.
