Dalit girl raped

BASTI DEC. 10. A 10-year-old Dalit girl was raped while returning from school in Mirwapur village of this district by a resident of the same area, a police official said today.

An FIR was lodged accusing a 40-year-old Mani Ram Chaudhry for the crime. He said the incident had sparked off tension in the village.
